January 1, 2011 I watched my first football game. The Badgers made it to the Rose Bowl and being that I am a proud Wisconsinite and a UW-Madison Alum I felt obligated to watch. Also I have faint memories of watching it the last time they made it!
So I sported my Rose Bowl gear and head to Austin's Packer bar with some friends who were ready and willing to explain the in's and out's of football. Look how excited I am!?
But then they started explaining...
But I had a positive attitude! I was sporting my Wisconsin gear! I was ready to be a football fan... for the first time!
But then I got kinda tired and bored...
And tried playing Euchre on my phone instead...
Until I got scolded. Fine! Fine, I'll watch!
And then we lost! We lost!
I felt deflated... I was really ready to start liking football... for a day.
