Today is was like 80 degrees in Austin... 80 degrees on January 30th! This Wisconsin girl still has trouble comprehending that. But not taking advantage of it!
Dixie and I headed downtown so sit outside at a coffee shop.
We sat outside and listened to a little country band play. I read while Dixie was spoiled with attention. She loved it! I love that Austin is such a dog friendly city, pretty much every person that walked by her stopped to pet her and there were so many dogs out. She got to make a lot of friends.
She quickly learned that she'd get more attention, and the occasional treat, if she'd sit for people and give them big smiles or puppy eyes (heavy with make-up).
She was working the crowd and posing for pictures- totally ridiculous! She's such a friendly dog and she just loves people. She was in heaven.
When we got home she was exhausted and passed out using her bone as a pillow.
I love this dog.
